Dear Kingsway Family,

As we step into October, I am reminded of the great potential that God has placed in each of us. I believe God is calling us to a season of spiritual renewal, where we fan into flame the gifts He has given us and make an impact in our world.

In 2 Timothy 1:6, Paul writes to Timothy, urging him to “fan into flame the gift of God.” It’s a powerful reminder that we all have been entrusted with a gift from God, but it’s our responsibility to keep that flame burning brightly. The fire of the Spirit within us can sometimes dim under the pressures of life, whether due to challenges, disappointments, or simply the distractions of everyday living. But God is calling us to rekindle that fire, to stir up the passion for His kingdom, and to walk boldly in the purpose He has given us.

I believe that God is raising up a generation of believers who will not be content to sit on the sidelines. He is calling us to fan the flames of our faith, and make a lasting impact in our communities, cities, and in nations.

You might ask yourself the following question: But how do I Impact My World? Through His Spirit, you can be an instrument of change by praying with purpose; serving with compassion; and sharing your testimony passionately with those who don’t know Christ. As a church, we are committed to being a beacon of hope in our local community.

This October, we have several opportunities to make a tangible difference in the lives of others, for example:

Our new sermon series; Fan into Flame - Impact Your World; will challenge you to keep your fire burning and in doing so impacting your world.

Our Annual Impact Nations Weekend will take place 25-27 Octoberwhich will stir up the gift which is in you in order to impact your world.

“God gave me a gift, not for me but for you, and God gave you a gift, not for you but for me. If you don’t use your gift, you’re depriving me; if I don’t use my gift, I’m robbing you.” - Rick Warren
